Common Area Remediation
The Board has recently contracted with Ash Creek Forest Management to engage in work in our wooded Common Areas: the Central Woods and the East Woods (from Idleman to Hillcrest). This work is being undertaken as a result of our recent meetings with various state and county representatives and Fire Marshals to perform fuels mitigation in the event of future wildfires that may threaten our community.
This work will additionally remove several of the invasive species, including the blackberry, English Ivy, English Hawthorne, and English Holly. Our long-term plans are to restore a more native Oregon ecosystem and establish ongoing capabilities of wildfire fuels mitigation and invasive species elimination. The work will be undertaken in several phases, the first of which will begin October 10th.

Free Wood! During the recent windstorms, one of the HOA's trees fell and needed to be brought fully down for safety. We have left the cut pieces to naturally decompose, but if any HOA member would like to take some of the wood for their fireplace or other needs, people are welcome to take the cut wood. It is located in the small triangle where 92nd Avenue and Stevens Way meet, right behind our monument sign and next to 10571 SE Stevens. Also, just as a reminder, homeowners wishing to remove trees or make other changes to their homes that would be visible from the street should contact [email protected] first.

Help Us Clean Up
We are actively working with local and state representatives to develop and plan and obtain grants to help work on fuel reduction and invasive species mitigation (e.g., ivy and blackberry) in our common spaces. We will be meeting with these representatives on site sometime in the next couple of months. Any homeowners wishing to be involved should please contact a member of the board to be included.
